Joaquin is an NCCPA certified Physician Assistant and is licensed by the Texas States Board of Medical Examiners. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies both from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.

Joaquin believes in providing collaborative and evidence-based mental health care that helps his patients to become the best versions of themselves. Compassion, empathy, and honesty are three qualities he works to implement for each patient encounter. When Joaquin is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, improving his physical health and fitness, and traveling.
