Caroline Stray

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Caroline Stray, MSW, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience supporting teens, young adults, and individuals impacted by trauma. Caroline earned both her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work from North Carolina State University.

Prior to her current role, Caroline worked for four years as a high school social worker while also providing clinical services. She is EMDR trained and has completed additional advanced training to further strengthen her skills. She was selected to participate in the Austin Police Department’s EMDR project, where she has provided pro bono support to crime victims in the Austin community.

Caroline primarily works with trauma survivors, teens, young adults, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Her approach to care is client-centered and relational, with an emphasis on building trust and collaboration before engaging in deeper healing work. She integrates trauma-informed care, EMDR, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused strategies to help clients develop agency, problem-solve, and make meaningful changes in their lives.

Outside of work, Caroline is passionate about health and wellness, including running and strength training. She also enjoys live music, traveling, and spending time outdoors, often accompanied by her dog, Charlie.
