Annette has a passion for mental health care and believes optimal wellness is achieved with a combination of traditional and alternative approaches to holistic psychiatric care. As the Clinical Manager at Roots Behavioral Health, she strives to ensure every patient that engages with our Ketamine clinical practice receives exceptional, personalized care.

Annette is a graduate of Austin Community Colleges’ special admissions program with a bachelor’s degree in the science of nursing. She maintains a Texas Board of Nursing license as a qualified Registered Nurse. Additionally, she maintains an aesthetics license awarded by the Texas Board of Cosmetology.

After moving to Austin, Texas in 2012 from her home state of Louisiana, Annette began to pursue a fruitful career in psychiatric nursing. Since 2016, she has worked directly with patients receiving traditional mental health care, specializing in acute inpatient psychiatric care, medication management, and forensic competency restoration.

Outside of holistic, person-centered care, Annette is passionate about her own growth and development as well. She enjoys dedicating herself to close personal relationships and engaging in activities such as Qigong, cooking, kayaking, and cosmic star-gazing with friends.
