Mark Adams, Ph.D.

Psychologist, Mindfulness Group Leader

Mark Adams is a psychologist who began his mindfulness training and practice in 2009 when he attended a 7-day professional retreat on Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, New York. He has since developed and deepened a personal and professional practice of mindfulness, including the development of a mindfulness program for veterans at the local VA Clinic.

He also has expertise in the treatment of trauma and PTSD and has received basic training through Roots Behavioral Health in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). He is very enthusiastic about this unique collaboration with Roots Behavioral Health in the spirit of making these ideas and practices accessible and useful.
